Road wins are my tiebreaker. Beating a decent team in its stadium says more than flattening another cupcake at home.
I built a bracket using wins, opponent quality, and efficiency instead of poll position. It leaves out an unbeaten team with a soft schedule, a famous two-loss team, and the league runner-up everyone assumes is safe. That feels harsh, but expanding the field was never going to eliminate hard choices. Conference champions get priority in my version, while the final at-large spot goes to the best road résumé. Which principle should break the tie?
