Weather report says sideways rain: what changes first?

The forecast calls for heavy rain and sustained wind by the second quarter. Fans always say that means run the ball, but the details are more interesting. Shotgun snaps, punt decisions, route depth, and field position all change before the run-pass ratio does. I expect more under-center work and fewer long boundary throws. What adjustment would you watch on the first two drives?
