Is the Qb regression epidemic a direct correlation to NIL era?

I know NIL officially started in like 2021 but I think it took a few years for teams to really grasp it. I could be tripping but whats the correlation to the epedemic? Because the last 3 years i’d say we haven’t had much standout qbs like we used to have in cfb.
