To put Ohio State's loss to USC in perspective...

This loss marks the first time Ohio State has lost 2 games before the month of November since 2011 (2008 if you don't count the interim season where Fickell was their HC. The Buckeyes finished 10-3 in '08 with their 3rd loss coming in their bowl game, and 6-7 in 2011.) That stat really shows how much this is unfamiliar territory for Ohio State and their fans.
