Texas is sitting at 6-2 and ranked No. 7 in the first College Football Playoff rankings. That sounds pretty good until you look at what's coming next.

The Longhorns have three road games in their final four regular-season contests. First comes No. 18 Missouri, followed by a trip to LSU. They'll host Arkansas before finishing against Texas A&M at Kyle Field.

That's a nasty stretch, especially for a team that already has two losses. Missouri is particularly important because another defeat could leave Texas with very little room for error in the playoff race.

I'm not convinced the Longhorns can afford to treat this as an ordinary November road game. Arch Manning and the offense need to be sharp, because Missouri won't make life easy at home.

Is Missouri already a must-win for Texas, or can the Longhorns survive another loss and still make the playoff?
